2013 has been an incredibly busy year for us at Little Stomper HQ. Not only has the shop gone from strength to strength but we have also had a new addition to the household - a very cute baby boy.
Running an online shop and looking after a four year old and baby is quite a challenge. There's always something to do! We're at the point now to grow the shop we need to invest heavily financially to take it to the next level and that would include renting storage. But importantly, we need time for the children.
After some long deliberation, we decided that as much as we love what we do, it's not what we want to continue doing. It's a hard market out there. Being an independent is really hard work. Don't let anyone tell you different! Retail itself is hard work. So we have decided to quit while we're ahead.
We're having a closing down sale - so do pop on over to the shop and grab a bargain
We came on to the scene knowing very little other than what we loved, but the great thing about being an independent is that other indies are very supportive.
We'd like to particularly give a big shout out and thanks to Ruth at Love It Love It Love It who has answered many a stupid question and been an all round superstar. Thank you, we owe you one.
There are loads of other who have helped along the way too. Too many to mention, but to everyone who has helped spread the word - the blog posts, the tweets, the photo sharing - I truly thank you from the bottom of my heart.
And to our customers, you guys are all kinds of aces.
